How Our Online Auctions Work

An online auction is a digital marketplace where buyers place competitive bids on items or
assets. The highest bidder at the end of the auction wins the item, subject to meeting any
minimum reserve price.

To participate in an auction:
● Click “Register” on the top right corner of our website.
● Fill in your details and verify your email.
● Some auctions may require additional information or a refundable deposit to bid.

You can:
● Browse by category (we have over 200 asset types!)
● Use filters to search by location, industry, or auction closing soon
● Follow sellers or save items to track upcoming opportunities

● Go to the item’s auction page
● Enter your bid amount and click “Place Bid”
● You’ll receive confirmation and updates if you’re outbid

Proxy Bidding (automatic bidding) allows you to set the maximum amount you’re willing to
pay. The system will automatically place the lowest possible bid needed to keep you in the
lead—up to your max amount.
Example:
If you set a proxy bid of $5,000 and the current bid is $3,000, the system may place a bid of
$3,100 for you. If another user bids $3,200, your bid will automatically increase to $3,300, and
so on—until your maximum is reached.

A reserve price is the minimum price a seller is willing to accept. If the bidding doesn’t meet the reserve, the item may not be sold.
